How to Find Your Love Online (In Half the Time), Part 1

[Editor's note:  This is the first in a series of articles dedicated to helping YOU find the love of your life with brilliance, ease and grace---BEFORE you turn 80!!]

Sound familiar?

"I've been dating online for over a year now but not attracting the right people."

"It's becoming a waste of time that goes nowhere. How do I attract the partner of my dreams?"

"I'm tired of being alone, but the exposure to strangers for intimate matters seems foreign and against my conservative nature."

"I'm a huge fan of animals and kids. It's pretty difficult to find someone who loves them like I do and doesn't mind making the sacrifices that are sometimes necessary."

"I feel overwhelmed by the idea of online dating and sorting through all the prospects, but I do know a couple who met online, and they are really happy together! They swear by it!"

If you are single, chances are you've already tried dating online, are actively involved in it now, or are seriously considering the possibility of taking the plunge sometime soon.

Once ridiculed as an option only for the "desperate and dateless", experts now estimate that over 50 million people are looking for love online---and more than 20% of them are age 50 or older.

So with statistics like these, it would seem safe to assume that at least a few of them could be of "exceptional quality".  And when you think of it, what are the alternatives?  Business networking events?  Motivational seminars?  Hanging out at friend's weddings??  (How effective has this been in the past year?  5 years?  10 years?)

Ah yes.  But how to do it RIGHT?  That is the challenge with online dating.  And here is the first of several steps I will suggest in this series of articles dedicated to helping YOU find the love of your life in record time:

TAKE THE PASSION TEST!

I want to be sure you've heard of the new bestselling book called The Passion Test: The Effortless Path to Discovering Your Destiny by Janet and Chris Attwood.  If not, I would encourage you to read it and take their "passion test" soon.  I did and it's already having a wonderful effect on my energy and my life!

As John Gray, author of Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus writes, this book provides "a clear, simple, and effective method to help you identify your core passions so you can create the fulfilling life you deserve".

I believe this is the first step to attracting our ideal mates in record time.  When we are closely aligned with what we truly love, we will be the happiest and most fulfilled---and the happier we are, the more attractive we'll be to those around us, including prospective mates!

As Janet Attwood writes:  "The Passion Test is the magical key that will unlock those forgotten dreams which wait patiently in your heart for the day when you are finally ready to say, 'I am here to make a difference and the time is Now!

When you are truly passionate about something, you don't have to try hard to put attention on it.  It's fun, it's engaging, it's exciting."

So, here are some examples of "passions" that I particularly love:

Being part of a dynamic team

Connecting with my ideal mate

Studying with spiritual masters regularly

Having fun in everything I do

Being of service to massive numbers of people

Helping people live their vision

Having lots of free time to be

What are some of yours?  Take care not to censor them at this point.  You don't need to have a CLUE about how to manifest any of them, so dream BIG!

As the authors point out, "...when you are doing what you love, your activity takes on a life of its own, pulled irresistibly in directions you can't even begin to imagine."  So, if it turns you on and starts a fire in your heart when you think of it, write it down.

For now, all you need to do is close your eyes and ask yourself this question:  When I imagine my ideal life, where am I?  Who am I with?  What am I doing?

After you have been guided through this process using Chris and Janet's unique method called "The Passion Test" and have connected clearly with your Top 5 Passions, no matter WHO you are, I guarantee you will get some surprisingly powerful results.

And here's one final suggestion for those of you who are serious about finding the love of your life on the internet:

Add your "Top 5 Passions" to your personal profile, and post them online.  Take a look at them every morning while you're waking up, and read them again every night before you go to sleep, imagining they have already manifested in your life.  Feel it and enjoy it!  Then just wait and see what happens!
