Incredible NetworkersBy BETTE DAOUST, Ph.D., Southwest Bureau Chief Bette's Bio Email article RSS feed
Picking the right event and the right party this season will bring a lot of excitement into networking over the holidays. This is not the time to shut down business activities, it is a time to ramp up and start planning for the next year. It is truly an amazing time of year! I have had the privilege of working with some incredible networkers in the southwest this year and as the year comes to an end I want to recognize some of the dynamic groups and individuals that have given me inspiration. Chris Pareja of B2B Power Exchange is certainly on the top of my list. He has grown his networking groups throughout the Southwest and is now online in many more areas. When I first met Chris he had one group in Dublin California. He now has over 40 groups including several online. He is truly an amazing marketer and networker. If you want to know more about B2B Power Exchange, check out their website www.B2BpowerExchange.com and tell Chris I sent you! Cesar Plata of Bay Area Info is also tops. He puts on networking events that most people would die for. He is able to attract hundreds of people to all the events he hosts in the San Francisco Bay Area. His Latin business expo attracted over 500 people just for the trade show alone. Cesar is an incredible networker and loves to connected with everyone no matter where they reside. The next time you are in the San Francisco area be sure to check out www.InfoBayArea.com to see what events are happening. Hemant Desai is another whirlwind of knowledge and connections. Hemant runs the local area iTEX organization. I was originally connected to Hemant through Cesar Plata and now I am able to connect to so many other people across the US through Hemant. I was introduced to an new organization in Utah through his connections (I will write about his group next month). As the saying goes, you never know who someone else knows. Hemant can be reached through hemant.desai@itex.net George Antone of Wealth Classes, Inc. George seems to know everyone throughout the states when it comes to networking in the real estate training field. Through George I have met some incredible individuals throughout the Southwest. Many of these individuals have large networks where they are truly connected to each other (and not just a list of names). George is about education and connecting people for creating their personal success. George can be found through his online TV website. www.wealthclasses.tvDr. Elizabeth Kearney, a very well-known individual throughout the southwest has given me connections to all types of organizations in California. Dr. Kearney has written several books on business development and the like, however, she is one of the most connected people I know. She writes for the East Bay Business Times, is a professor at Turow University, provides small business training for many Chambers of Commerce and spends a great deal of time connecting people. Thank you to each an every person that I have not listed, you are all very much appreciated for your hardwork and dedication to making networking a success in the southwest.
