I know that most of us are so busy dealing with everyday issues, and retirement seems far away….but everyday it’s getting closer. If you haven’t devoted time and effort in this area of your life maybe it is time to do so. As many have said – WHAT YOU PUT YOUR TIME AND ATTENTION TO GROWS. Where is your focus? Where would you like it to be?

According to the 2006 Retirement Confidence Survey (RCS) 31% of Americans would rather scrub a bathroom than plan for retirement. Rest assured: If you've been putting off planning for your retirement, you're not alone.

Check out the numbers from the RCS. They reflect the total savings and investments (not including the value of the primary residence) of today's workers...

A few months ago I met a young man, Jason Buckley, through a mutual friend. We chatted over a cup of tea at my home and I was impressed by his young, enthusiastic energy.
