Mid-Atlantic Bureau Chief (New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, Washington, DC)
Bruce Newman has 25 years of experience in the computer, consulting and networking fields. A graduate of SUNY at Stony Brook and Cornell University (undergraduate and graduate, respectively), Bruce has applied his academic background to the development of several patents and technical and non-technical products and services. One non-technical product, PC Mirror™, is sold online (www.pcmirror.com) and by sales trainers to improve sales and productivity. Bruce’s specialty is networking and prodinst – how services provide value that enhances productivity – and the bottom line. Bruce believes that much of what we do can enhance or diminish our productivity. Networking is a prime example of how value and productivity can be increased. When done well, networking requires less time and effort, resulting in significantly larger increases in productivity than a poorly implemented attempt. As the mid-Atlantic Bureau Chief, Bruce is intent on providing increased coverage of networking opportunities, networking movers and the goings-on in his region. Bruce is currently a Vice President and the token male at The Productivity Institute, LLC, (PI), a 100% woman owned company that matches the specific needs of companies to the expertise of constantly rated outstanding consultants. By providing this free consulting matching service designed to meet specific requirements, The Productivity Institute provides a win-win situation in which all parties benefit. On a personal note, Bruce enjoys skiing, tennis, basketball, photography, organic gardening and hiking. He has two teenagers – a son and a daughter, the latter being very special needs. He is involved with numerous special needs organizations and the Special Olympics. Bruce can be reached via email at: bnewman@prodinst.com and through the Productivity Institute’s website at: www.prodinst.com .
